12-YEAR-OLD RAPPER ISN'T OVERWHELMED ONE BIT
What were you doing when you were 12? It likely pales in comparison to Philadelphia rapper Matt Ox, who first popped up on the hip hop radar with his song "Overwhelming" last May. Now, his fanbase is larger than ever after being featured on the late XXXTentacion's March album, ?, as well as Yung Bans' new track "Montana" alongside Lil Skies. Month on month, Ox has seen a 125% increase in artist station adds on Pandora as well as a 175% lift in Twitter followers. He's currently seeing over 5,200 artist station adds per week.
NEW YORK DJ TAKES THREE STEPS FORWARD
While the internet brings many, many ways for an artist to break out, good old-fashioned late-night TV still seems to work. Case in point, New York producer and musician Two Feet. He made his network television debut last week on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, performing his breakout single "I Feel Like I'm Drowning." The June 21 appearance resulted in a 100% lift in Twitter followers and a 12% lift in artist station adds, bringing him to his highest chart appearance to date.
