ENGLAND NATIVE MAKES IT TO SOCAL
British alternative artist Rex Orange County has been making his way up the Trendsetters Chart this summer as he tours to promote his second studio LP, Apricot Princess. (Most recently, he played two shows at LA's Fonda Theater.) Rex -- who's friends and frequent collaborators with Tyler the Creator -- is currently seeing around 2,500 new artist station add per week on Pandora.
WHO YOU CALLIN' SLIMEBALL?
Atlanta hip-hop has been pretty... slimy lately. First there was Young Thug's Slime Season series of mixtapes, and now, rising rapper Young Nudy has delivered Slimeball 3. The mixtape, which features big-name producers like MetroBoomin , Wheezy and Cubeatz, has helped Nudy see massive gains on social media and Pandora. This month compared to last month, he's seen a 20% increase in artist station adds a 180% lift in both mentions and followers on Twitter.
