LOUISIANA RAPPER DROPS A NEW PROJECT
While Louisiana-born rapper JayDaYoungan has been holding strong for a while -- debuting on the Trendsetters Chart back in March -- but he's started to pick up speed this month since releasing his new project, Forever 23.This month compared to last month, Jay has seen an 18% increase in artist station adds, a 25% lift in track station adds, and a 100% uptick in on-demand streams on Pandora.
RAP WITH A ROCK N ROLL ATTITUDE
Doobie is lighting up fast. The rising rapper from Columbus, Ohio, started steadily building his fanbase last year with the release of his single "Hopeless," but this year proved to be his breakout moment thanks to his buzzy single "When the Drugs Work." The rapper, who often uses guitar riffs in his songs and cites rock n roll as one of his biggest influences, has seen a 12% increase in streams on Pandora month on month.
